Our consultations are tailor-made for you and your pet. At Viking Vets the nurses answer the phone, this means that you can speak to a qualified person who will assess how urgent and how long the appointment needs to be. Our appointments are at least 15 minutes long, most practices run on 10 minute appointments.
Our experienced vets will listen to your concerns and discuss treatment options and cost with you. We are very aware that different owners and pets have different needs and our aim is to work with you and your pet to address these needs.
We also aim for you to see the same vet for ongoing treatments. This is easier to achieve being a small practice. Our veterinary team consists of five very experienced vets.
Our consulting rooms are large since most of our patients like to bring in the whole family. We have also tried to create a warm and homely feel, to put both owner and pets at ease. We have large treat pots for our canine friends, and most of our regulars, not only pull to get in to the practice, but they also know where the treat pots are hidden.
We have recently completed a building project to create a feline wing, this has a separate waiting and consulting room for our feline friends and a new gold standard separate feline hospital ward.
