James Greenwood
Veterinary Surgeon

James qualified from the University of Bristol. After qualifying, he worked in a tier 3 small animal hospital on Jersey before moving to the midlands to work in a mixed small animal and equine role.

James started working at Viking Vets in 2010. In 2016 he left the practice as a full-time vet but he continues to work as a locum. His main interests are dentistry and surgery but he also enjoys keeping up to date with all his clients regularly through consulting.

Outside of work James is a keen ceramicist, making all sorts of creations on his wheel and then firing them in his kiln. He has started selling some of his work and donating pieces to raise money for a charity back in his home town of Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. He is also a keen cook and enjoys restoring old furniture back to full glory.

James has a one-eyed Labrador called Oliver who is often found causing much amusement. He is a cheeky chappy and loves life! His favourite past times are lying in the sun or rolling in wet grass!
