If you are self isolating and yourpet becomes ill, we can do a video consultation over Messenger, discuss your concerns on the phone, or you could arrange for a friend to bring your pet in.
We are starting to trial video consultations for some consultations for pets that are known to us, to minimise traffic to the practice. Please phone to book, we are working on how best to provide this service.
If you are due to pick up medication, food or even your pet post surgery, you may want to phone to prepay over the phone prior to picking up, thereby minimising contact whilst in the practice.
We will also be sending out Health Plan anti parasite treatments by post starting next week.
I have no doubt that as we are reaching a peak of this outbreak, more draconian measures will be put in place. Viking Vets is committed to staying open for as long as possible to care for your pets, whilst minimising risk to you and our team.
